Why Exhibit at Trade Shows?
Exhibiting is a cost effective way to ‘refresh’ your company following a downturn in the economy, especially when budgets have not been available to keep your company or brand in front of your clients. In a recovering economy more importance is placed on face-to-face discussions and hands-on demonstrations when companies are making large capital expenditures.
Business owners and managers who are serious about keeping up-to-date with industry developments attend trade shows to get ideas from highly skilled professionals to maintain and improve their competitive advantage. As products develop and new technology presents itself so regularly, the importance for suppliers to inform customers and educate them is paramount to any business success.
Exhibitions are valuable because you can:
Promote/launch new products
Generate immediate and ongoing sales
Create leads for future business
Strengthen brand awareness
Keep up to date with new industry developments
Get immediate feedback
Identify new markets, agents and distributors
Conduct market research
Enhance and build client relationships
Generate PR and promote your organisation
Reduce time and money while increasing results
The Campaign
Exhibition Director Rachel Hobbs-Price & Team produce great marketing campaigns and make sure the material is current, relevant and researched. Finding out what is important to the industry is an integral part of our show development. A minimum of 350 visitors are professionally surveyed by independent marketing company, TouchScreen Marketing & Research, at each trade show for an in-depth analysis of who our visitors are, who they work for, and where they come from. They are also asked what they read, what radio station they listen to and how they heard about the show. These statistics are vital for the growth and development of each show. Exhibitors are surveyed in-house after each event. These surveys are read, analysed and any suggested improvements are implemented in future shows.
Leading associations and organisations are also invited and encouraged to participate, whether lending support in the show development and strategy phase or designing and producing top level seminars and workshops. A combined effort from the industry means SouthMACH can continuously develop each year and continue to provide suppliers and buyers with a professional networking experience.
