Show Information

SouthMACH was created in 2005 for South Island Engineers

Since that date SouthMACH has grown into a major event for the engineering & manufacturing technology supply industry throughout New Zealand.

Show Profile

SouthMACH is the largest manufacturing technology industry exhibition held in the South Island and provides industry suppliers with the opportunity to showcase their most up-to-date technology, components, materials and services to a well-represented manufacturing sector over two show days.  The event was launched in 2005 and now in its fifth season, SouthMACH has become the leading reference point and meeting place for New Zealand’s machinery and engineering community.

High Caliber of Visitors

SouthMACH prides itself on the high caliber of visitors that attend to see, test and purchase the very latest in manufacturing, machinery and engineering technology.  A successful 2011 show brought together around 80 exhibitors and 2700 of New Zealand’s key decision makers and buyers over the two show days.  Even though the show was postponed then held during a blizzard, the quality of visitors to SouthMACH 11 was evident in the visitor survey results which illustrated 75.3% of those who visited the show are directly involved in specifying, recommending or purchasing products for their company, and 49.3% are employed in management positions, or are Company Owners or Directors.

Up-To-Date

Trade shows like SouthMACH help raise the profile of manufacturing in New Zealand and help companies to maintain and improve competitiveness.  Efficient and productive manufacturing relies on having reliable and up to date information about processes, machinery, tools and equipment, and visitors come to SouthMACH to keep their finger on the pulse of the factors affecting national and international markets.

Competitive Exhibiting Rates

Even though the venue rental and associated show costs have sky rocketed, we have chosen to retain the exhibiting rates from the previous two years. Please view the site plan and show brochure to work out approximate exhibiting costs or contact Exhibition Director Rachel Hobbs-Price for a quote.

Manufacturing Success: Seminar Series

Due to the success of the onsite seminars in 2011, SouthMACH will once again host of a variety of professional seminars, to equip visitors with expert advice and guidance on specialised areas of the manufacturing technology industry.  The SouthMACH 13 seminars will provide invaluable and quality information to all those involved in manufacturing and related sectors. Please contact Exhibition Director Rachel Hobbs-Price for more information on presenting a professional seminar or workshop.
