XPO Exhibitions Ltd (XPO) Terms & Conditions

XPO are the event organisers of the exhibition you are considering attending. We’re committed to providing a professional exhibition environment for both visitors and exhibitors.

By attending any of our current exhibitions, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

Conditions of Entry

This is strictly a trade-only exhibition. Genuine industry professionals will only be allowed admittance to the exhibition. Please bring to the exhibition a business card or relevant company documentation with your personal identification.

All visitors to the show are to formally register to attend the show and wear an ID name badge issued at XPO’s onsite. These must be visibly worn for the duration of your stay at the exhibition.

Entry to the exhibition is FREE.

No product may be removed from the show without a show receipt.

Smoking is not permitted within the Exhibition Centre.

Once registered you are permitted to enter the show as many times as you like over the opening hours and days of the exhibition.
Canvassing for orders by any unauthorised person(s) is strictly prohibited and will result in your immediate expulsion from the exhibition premises.

The distribution or display of other placards, handbills and circulars, or other articles, except by exhibitors on their own stands, is strictly prohibited.

Group Registrations

Business Owners/Directors and Managers may register up to 10 colleagues or employees at the same time they register themselves.

Security

XPO provides security staff, operations staff and event management onsite during the exhibitions who will enforce these Terms and Conditions onsite.

By accepting these Terms and Conditions you acknowledge XPO and our employees and officers are neither accountable nor liable for any damage, loss, harm or injury of any kind to visitors or their property whilst at the exhibition venue.

XPO reserves the right to refuse entry or remove any persons at XPO’s sole discretion.

Photography/Videography

XPO reserves the right to take photographs and video footage at any of its exhibitions. Your image may be captured both indirectly or directly in images taken by any of our staff or contractors or by the venue security systems.

You agree to provide consent if your image is captured in any photographs or videos taken by XPO’s event photographer(s) which may also be used for promotional, print and digital communications by XPO to promote the exhibition.

Visitors to the Exhibition are not permitted to take photographs and/or video footage of any exhibitor or exhibitor product onsite without first seeking and receiving permission from the exhibitor who is showcasing the product onsite.

Children and Babies

XPO exhibitions are trade-only events. Children under the ages of 14 years are not allowed to enter the exhibition without express written permission from XPO.

Note: Visitors with babies may request from XPO a waiver document to sign. Waivers are generally only issued at the sole discretion of XPO as an exception to allow a parent and baby access if 1. both the waiver document is filled out and signed, and 2. the baby is carried in a baby-sling / carrier / backpack or small pram.

Waivers are not always issued at exhibitions and XPO’s propensity to issue waivers may vary from exhibition to exhibition – due to a wide variety of safety considerations. It is therefore highly recommended that parents organise off-site care for children before they attend the show to avoid disappointment.

Luggage

Luggage and trolley bags may be stored in our nominated (and unattended) cloak rooms purely at the visitor’s discretion. Cloak rooms are located near onsite registration desks. XPO will take reasonable steps to ensure the safety of such items however will not be held accountable for any luggage that goes missing or is damaged.

Wheelchairs

Wheelchairs are available on-site at the exhibition front main desk and can be arranged prior to the exhibiting. Please email info@xpo.co.nz or call (09) 876 8300 for further information or to make a wheelchair booking.

General

XPO is committed to achieving the highest standards in respect of health and safety of visitors and exhibitors. Please conduct yourself and persons whom accompany you in a safe and appropriate manner at all times.

I am an international visitor. How do I apply to visit the exhibition?

If you are from overseas and planning to visit the exhibition you may need to apply for a business visa. The passport which you hold will determine whether you can apply online, or if you need to lodge a paper-based application. Applications need to be made well in advance at the New Zealand Embassy in your country.

Please note XPO does not provide visa invitation letters to international visitors.

Cash Sales

XPO events are trade only and do not support cash sales. Products cannot be removed from the premises prior to the end of the exhibition or without prior consent with XPO.
